The concept behind this is awesome. I hate having to pull my iPad off my Apple Keyboard to really use it for drawing. This, you can flip it around, awesome!
The great – the screen can be adjusted around and even down on the keyboard for use as a pad without detaching.
You can turn the keyboard on and off when you flip it over.
The battery life has been good so far.
The keyboard lighting is awesome. You can choose different colors even.
The case is hard which, in theory, is great, but not 100% sure it would protect in a drop, which I am not going to try to find out.
As others have said, the mouse track pad is a game changer, but,……. Keep reading.
I really like the extra security of the pen holder. It isn’t on the magnetic side and will not charge while in there, but it is still great as it keeps the pen handy. I think it may have been a little better at the top.
The Okay –
I like that the keyboard is clicky, others may not.
The keyboard is a bit thick, so it makes the overall unit thicker. After using my Apple keyboard case, it takes getting used to.
Since the iPad is on a swivel hinge, it can be a bit top heavy, so leaning it back alllows the unit to tip if you aren’t careful.
When typing, the unit shakes at times since it is on the swivel hinge. Not terrible, but can be a little annoying.
The not so great –
So I want so bad to love this. I have not sent it back – yet – for as much as I love the trackpad mouse feature, it is VERY VERY sensitive, but not sensitive when you need it. Let me explain… sometimes it takes a few taps to get it to scroll up. You have to use 2 fingers to scroll up, which is a pain too. But other times, it is so sensitive when you are scrolling up it goes too far. Where it becomes a possible deal breaker is the sensitivity when you are typing. I don’t lean on it when I type, I have good typing posture and have my hands arched. I don’t know if my sleeve brushes it or what, but I have been typing many times and suddenly I am not typing in the same spot. First couple of times I just kinda hit the screen to get the cursor back. Then I realized the cursor had gone elsewhere and my typing was there. Unfortunately this occurred at times I was reworking my resume and once on a job site applying for a job. Also unfortunately, I did not catch this and may have sent quite the typo filled information. So as much as I love it and like the trackpad feature, I am thinking it will be a return since the having to frequently stop to reset my cursor and correct typing issues. I have a little time to keep trying, but I am not optimistic.

Superb product, exactly what I wanted. Fairly heavy, but remains open at whatever angle I choose, has a perfect keyboard with nighttime backlighting and a nice touch. Holds my Apple Pencil too!

I chose black, expected it to be little bit better and felt like a wrong purchase.

Great little keyboard case! I’ve had this for about 3 months now and use it every day at work, as well as personally at home. I work in the medical field and carry it around and use it to enter records, so have logged a lot of hours on this. The keys have great touch quality and all of the main shortcuts work easily. It is backlit and has good controls. It keeps a good long charge with a standard usb-C charger. The trackpad is smooth and works well. The swivel and tilt features work well. There is a central hinge where the screen turns and folds. Initially I was worried about this as I thought it might break easily. However, it is surprisingly stable and tight. That said, because of the swivel features and the turning capability on a single point in the center, the iPad does jiggle when touched or with heavy typing. I’ve gotten used to this and it doesn’t bother me as most laptops have some jiggle. The iPad stays tight in the case itself and actually folds and functions much like my co-workers’ folding laptops. It is plastic, but is holding up very well. I use it frequently for multiple hours at a time, but haven’t dropped it and do carry it back and forth to work in a bag. It has soft plastic “feet” on the bottom, much like a regular laptop and is very sturdy on table surfaces. I have paid significantly more for other keyboards, but this actually makes my iPad function more like a laptop and I have been pleased with it.

We’ve had this for awhile now and it is a trooper especially with a toddler! Super easy to set up, the keys are sensitive, super portable and it is very functional since our daughter watches movies on it when we travel!

My friend purchased this keyboard but for her iPad mini. I had to have so I purehed the typecase Touch Keyboard for my iPad Pro 11 inch and it was a perfect fit. And It was delivered the next day June 13. It’s only been only a week and I love this keyboard with track pad case, It has turned my iPad Pro into a computer. The key is easy to attach to iPad easy to pair 5 min and I was up and typing. The keyboard have a nice touch and are the size of a regular size keyboard. It’s study and appears to made to last and protect my iPad Pro. The cost is well worth the purchase. Now to the cons the the shortcut pamphlet that comes with the typecase keyboard Touch is so obsolete. Very few of the shortcuts work on my keyboard case. For I had to call the number on back of the case to find out how to turn the track pad off because my palm kept touching the track pad as I typed, and he also many of the keys in the pamphlet, the typecase keyboard Touch doesn’t have. not a game changer. FYI: Typecase sellers it would be nice if you update your Shortcut pamphlets and make the keys on the pamphlet so hey can be read. Also for future reference of the new and updated keyb case would you plans put 2 legs on the back of the case to prop the case up while typing. Still not a game changer. I’ve been on this keyboard since it arrived. I have no regrets on his purchase so far and I will keep this review updated.
UPDATE: the pencil holder doesn’t hold the Apple Pencil anymore. The piece of fabric attached to the case that’s holds the pencil became stretch out of shape and too big for the pencil so I had to purchase a pencil case.
